Default 2 accounts, 1 game........(shouldn't be allowed)

Look, what if some one played a Public/open BWE in 2004 and made an account, and did not preorder for it, then when he/she buys the full game and then makes another account, wouldn't that be like 2 accounts? And how the heck will Game makers know that that person ahd 2 accounts when one was from a *OPEN!!!* BWE.......

Just curious.... Perhaps in the release you are required to put a key to work your account?

Yes, when the game is released, you will recieve another key in your retail box that you must enter to play.

the 3 days for 5-10 bucks was well worth the pre-order, this is one intense game and i spent most of last BWE learning how to play, and cant wait for the last BWE next fri. morning

From all posted information.
You will be able to use the preorder account(s) on the 27th through the 28th. After that ONLY the accounts that have been validated with the Retail CD key will exist. All others will be flushed from the server(s).

Well, not exactly, but close. We aren't going to "time" someone and insist that he or she pick up the game the day it is released. At some point in the future we probably will clear those accounts that haven't been activated, but we are going to preserve them for the foreseeable future, so that if someone picks up the game a week, or two weeks, or a month after release, his preorder account will still be there, keeping his names reserved and his special item at the ready.

My understanding of the release wipe is that the only things carried over from the BWE's to the release of the game will be the fact that A) you created an account with a pre-order key, and B) the character names which you used will be saved and reserved for your account for a certain period of time.

No one can hack into your account, it seems people go through this every MMORPG. You cant really get your account hacked, its more of you were stupid enough to give someone your password.

Remember its scammed not hacked.

(Its just something that pisses me off when people say hacked (Itmakes them sond smarter even though there own stupidity is what lost there account))

That is a fact! Nothing but your account and your character names will carry over. We all start over at lvl 0 on April 27th...

Are there any updates as to the wiping of guilds yet? Last I read there was still some confusion on what would happen with guild names, at least...

Vai
